The meaning of life

I appeal to you therefore, brother, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewal of your mind., that you may prove what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect. For by the grace given to me I bid everyone among you not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but think sober judgement, each according to the mesure of faith which God has assigned him. For as in one body we have many members, and all the members do not have the same function, so we though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another. Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, in proportion to our faith; if service, in our serving, he who teaches, in his teaching; he who exhorts, in his exhortation he who gives aid, with zeal; he who does act of mercy, with cheerfulness.

O the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments and how inscrutable his ways! For who has known the mind of the Lord, or who has been his counselor? Or who has given a gift to him that he might be repaid? For from him, and through him, and to him are all things.

When Jesus came into the district of Caeasarcea Philippi, he asked his disciples, Who do men say the son of man is? And they said Some say John the Baptist, others say Elijah, and others Jeremiah or one of the prophets. He said to them, "But who do you say that I am?" Simon Peter replied, "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God." And Jesus answered him, "blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jona! For flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my Father who is in heaven. And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the powers of death shall not prevail against it. I will give you the key's to the Kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven." Then he strictly charged the disciples to tell no one that he was the Christ.

Jesus began to show his disciplesthat he must go to Jerusalem and suffer many things from the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and on the third day be raised. And Peter took him and began to rebuke him saying, "God forbid, Lord! this shall never happen to you." But he turned and said to Peter, "Get behind me, Satan! You are a hindrance to me; for you are not on the side of God, but of men." Then Jesus told his disciples, "If any man would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. For whoeverwould save his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it. For whatwill is profit a man, if he gainsthe whole world and forfeits his life? Or what shall a man give in return for his life? fFor the Son of man is to come with his angels in the glory of his Father, and then he will repay every man for what he has done."

History of Slavery

You know about Rosa Parks you know everything you need to know or ever want to know about the true evels of slavory. You know it's one of the worst scars on a Republican, you know it still tares us apart. You know all of those things are true and you know there right. When it comes to civil rights it's a cake. I want to tell you about this cake and how the cake is made. Our country has done some horrific things. Do you know that this cake is pretty much perfect, but is that true? What's true? You have to cut the cake and take the piece out and look at it to see all the layers. All the layers of the past to see how this was made up. What layer is good and what layer is bad and what are the ingredience so we'll know in the future so things won't happen like that again.
I have four hundred years to cover so lets get started. It's like Thomas Jefferson said if a nation expects to be ignerant and free in a state of civilization it expects what never was and never will be. You can not take my word for it, you can't take the word of posts, you can't take the word of text books, you must do your own homework. This is your country, this is your history! Read, and read people who disagree with each other, you find the trueth. It's Imperative for the repulic.
Manifest Destiny is a perversion of divine providence. And the four major forces Commerce, Religion, Government, and Science there all good but when they collude there is trouble. All of these forces turned against the native Americans, our founders liked the native Americans. But then we needed land. The government needed to expand. We needed to make money on it. Religion was telling people well they're savages. They're not quite as whole. Same thing with science they colluded all for the goal for making money or for the best for the collective. Well I want to talk about slavery in the 17th century. We all learned about slavery in school we all know the horrors of it. The fact that Whites enslaved blacks builds on the idea that all men are created equal is beyond hypocritical we know that. So how did it happen? We know it's a national Tragedy. We also know tthe treasure that is Abraham Lincon. We know how it ended with the cival war. But does anyone know how slavery started? We know the ending, how did it start? I mean nobody came in and said hey everybody lets have slaves. It doesn't sound like that could happen. The fact is that it started small and it became one of the worst scars in American history and global history. In the early colonial America it wasn't slavery, it was Indentured servitude.
What is Indentured servitude? Well indentured servitude isn't the same as slavery. There's some important differences here. It shares many of the same things we have today with illegal immigration. I believe that illegal immigration is modern day slavery, but thats not quite right. Illegal immigration the way it's happening now is more like indentured servitude. If your an illegal working in the New York you'll barely get paid enough to rent a bed not a room a bed. For 8 hours and someone else is going to rent that same bed for the next 8 hours. You have enough time to go sleep in it and go back to the mercy of your employer. You don't have any real rights. The governments not going to help you. No one's going to help you because you don't exist, you're not in the records. In theory indentured servitude is like that but indentured servitude promised a light at the end of the tunnel. Because after your time with the master was up you got what were called at the time freedom dues.
That was usually a little bit of land and a gun. the most important part of freedom dues was freedom. Indentured servitude was a common practice at the time around the globe at the time. Everybody was using this Indentured servitude. It was like slavery but not quite and it's not an American problem it's a human problem that happened all over the world. Now there were criterion on witch people were used as early indentured servants.
But here's what's not taught if I asked was it a white man or a black man as the master and the indentured servant? You would say, well the criteria at the beginning was not based on color it was based on creed. it was non-Christians that were used as servants. Collonists didn't identify them selves as white, they identified them selves as Christians. Whites, Blacks, you name it they were all used for this earliest form of slavery. If an indentured servant broke a contract they got the same punishment regardless of color. If an indentured servant just said I exept Jesus they could get out. Now this is bad but this isn't slavery so how did it happen?

Massachusetts was the first state to legalize and recognize slavery other states soon followed. Why? because it was profitable. Like Verginia. Now do you know who owned the first state sponsored slave in America? His name was Anthony Johnson. He was a black man. Can you believe that? How did a Black man own a Black man? before he was an owner he was an indentured servant. He worked in Verginia in 1621 his name was Antonio. It was recorded in a census it just recorded his first name and his race. He wasn't a slave he was an indentured servant. He worked on a Tabacco farm and his master gave him own plot of land and he prefected his skills on that plot of land for 15 years on that plantation. And during that time he married and had four children. After that time Antonio negotiated and bought his own freedom and thats when he dicided he was going to become an owner. Then he changed his name to Anthony Johnson and in 1640 Anthony and his wife bought a plot of land and hired not slaves because there weren't slaves he hired indentured servants.
Now that same year in another place there was a court case that involved three indentured servants who had excaped there were three. Two white guy's and a black guy. Now these guy's ran away they exapt and they were caught. Two of them had their servatude extended for four years and the third one had his servatude extended for life. Can you guess witch one got it extended for life? Witch means you can't buy your freedom so you become a slave. It was the Black man. Well why did the two white guy's get only four years and the black guy got life? The oldest story of time, this was the beginning of slavery. He was black, and this was the beginning of the real nightmare that took a long time to get out.
Now Anthony had his indentured servant his name was John Caster. Well John Caster who was also black complained to a court that Anthony unfarely extended his terms of servatude. the court emancipated John Caster and said your a free man you can go. But Anthony went back and tried to convince the court that Caster belonged to him and should be his for life. He won the court case believe it or not and Caster became a slave. I tell you this story to show you that its a human problem it's not a white problem or a black problem man will enslave man any time when he can. This is a warning sign it's happened through out history it's one of the layers of cake. Wait a minute wait a minute any man can do it. Do you know where the word slave came from?
The slavic people in central Europe. It didn't become race until much much later. Now this is horrible but it's about to get really bad. We all ways have to come back to the formula. When they collude your introuble., commerce, government, religion, and science. We have to go to Tabacco. Tabacco worth alot of money. It was a skill set that the english were familiar with but they weren't good at it at all. The people that were good at it were the indentured servants. They spent there whole time doing it and they had a chance to buy their way out if they could do it well. Yet the collonies depended on this just like they tell us now we're dependant on Illegal immagrants. I mean if they can make your tabacco cheaper or your salad cheaper there will allways be somebody that will take advantage of it.
So at the time the collonies were struggling economacally so the pressure started to mount to produce more tabacco and more tabacco. There's a crisis sound familiar. At the same time the collonies argued that freeing the indenured servants was causing a problem. It was a threat to property owners. They said that it was to costly. They couldn't keep up. These guy's would leave then commerce would be hurt because there was so much turn over and they had to spend to much money. Witch made tabacco more costly witch hurt the economy. So restrictions started being placed because commerce was hurt so government started putting more restrictions on. They placed restrictions on owning land and that caused the indentured servants to become upset because wait a minute thats our way out. Well these guy's started taking to the streets and setting fires. Of course in stead of moving the collonies to regect the horrific nature of servatude and move tored freedom because peoples dallars were at stake they went the other way. You know whats strange here I think this was our first tea party. The master was taking to much from the everyday people. It was the first time we saw the attitude of manifest destiny as well. If they could do anything they could take the land from the servants.
In 1662 Virinia took one of the last steps on the road to true evil. They in acted a law that said all children born into the colony to a slave mother would be enslaved. So now not only were you a slave but that slave past it down from generation to generation. All based on color. By the way lets go back here to Anthony Johnson. How did it end for Anthony Johnson the freed indentured servant who then was an owner of another black man. He died in 1670. What happened to his land the Jury had to discide what to do with it. the land Johnson left behind could be cesed by the government because he was by quote an allien.

Meet the New Human Family

A single unforgettable image comes to mind when we ponder human origins: a coaching ape slowly standing and morphing in a tall, erect human male poised to conquer every bit of habitable land on this planet. We walk this earth-we, this unparalleled experiment in evolution-reflexively assuming we are the crown of creation.

But the ancient of man picture is looking as dated as the flat earth. A series of scientists and technological breakthroughs have altered much of our fundamental understanding of human understanding of human evalution. In the new view, the path to homo sapians was amazingly dilatory and indirect. Along the way, our planet witnessed many variations of the human form, multiple migrations out of Aferca, interspecies trysts, and extinctions that ultimatly wiped out all hominid species exept one.

Unexpected fossil finds keep showing us an ever-expanding variety of human and prehuman species. Probably the most stunning of these recent discoveries is Ardipithecus ramidus, an ancestor who displayed a fantastical mosaic of ape and human traits. A. ramidus apparently climbed trees but also walked upright some 4.4 million years ago-more than half a million years before the long accepted origin of bipedalism.
Our ideas about later human evolution, meanwhile, having been shattered by the remains of a tiny, novel human species with a small but intricatly folded brain. Called homo floresiensis and nicknamed the "hobie" people, this species found in Indonesia rewrites the scientific story of how humans migrated out of Aferca and came to populate the whole world. The hobbits overlapped in time and space with homo sapiens, showing that even in relatively recent history more than one human species shared our planet-a situation evocative of the colorful world.
The emerging field of paleogenetics has brought perhaps the most surprising news of all. Using DNA sequencing, sientists have learned that anatomically modern humans interbred with homo na=eanderthalensis or the Neanderthals, probably around 60,000 years ago in the Middle East, before they fanned out to populate Europe and Asia. We not only share the planet with our cousinsbut share our DNA as well. Today 1 to 4 percent of the genome for population living outside Aferca is Neanderthal. Asimilar form of genetic analysis has also just revealed an entiryely new human group, previously unknown: the Denisovans, cousin to Neanderthals. All we have of them is a 50,000 year old pinky finger and most of a molar, found in a cave in Denisova, siberia. But those fragments were enough to determine that humans living in New Guinea today carry nearly 5 percent Denisovan DNA.

as anthropologists useing all the latest tools-genomics, computer analisis and increasingly sopisticated imaging-to extend deep secrets from the latest fosil finds, they are replacing the ancient of man with captivating new picture of human family. It edges us to decively closer to understand ing not only where we came from but also what made us so much more successful than other, superfiecially similar primates.

the Wickedness of mankind

When mankind had spread all over the world, and girls were being born, some of the heavenly beings saw that these girls were beautiful, so they took the ones they liked.

Then the Lord said "I will not allow people to live forever; they are mortal. From now on they will live no longer than 120 years."

In those day's and even later, there were giants on the earth who were descendants of human women and the heavenly beings. They were the great heroes and famous men of long ago. When the Lord saw how wicked everyone on earth was, and how evil their thoughts were all the time, he was sorry that he had made them and put them on earth. He was so filled with regret that he said "I will wipe out these people that I have created, and the animals, and the birds, because I am sorry I made any of them." But the Lord was pleased with Noah.

This is the story of Noah. He had three sons, Shem, Ham, and Japheth. Noah had no falts and he was the only good man of his time. He lived in fellowship with God, but everyone else was evil in God's sight, and violence had spread everywhere. God looked at the world and saw that it was evil, for the people were all living evil lives.
God said to Noah "I have decided to put an end to all mankind. I will destroy them completely, because the world is full of their violent deeds. Build a boat for yourself out of goood tember; make rooms in it and cover it with tar inside and out. Make it 450 feet long, 75 feet wide, and 45 feet high. Make a roof for the boat and leave a space of 18 inches between the roof and the sides. Build it with three decks and put a door in the side.
I am going to going to send a flood to destroy every living being. Every living thing will die but I will make a covenant with you. Go in the boat with your wife and sons and their wives. Take into the boat male and female of every kind of animal and of every kind of bird, in order to keep them alive. Take along all kinds of food for you and for them. Noah did everything that God commanded. The Lord said to Noah, "Go into the boat with your whole family; I have found that you are the only one in all the world who does what is right. Take with you seven pairs of each kind of ritually clean animal, but only one pair, but only one pair of every unclean animal, every creaping thing of the ground two of every kind shall come into the ark. And Noah did all that the Lord commanded him.

Noah was six hundered years old when the flood of waters came upon the earth. And Noah and his Wife and his sons and his sons wives went into the ark to escape the waters of the floods. Of clean animal and of animals that are not clean, and of birds, and of everything that creeps on the ground two and two male and female went into the ark with Noah as God has commanded Noah. And after seven day's the waters of the flood came upon the earth.

In the six hunderedth year of Noah's life, on the second month, on the seventeenth day of the month, on that day all the fountains of the great deep burst fourth, and the windows of the heavens we opened. And rain fell on the earth forty day's and forty nights. On the very same day Noah and his sons Ham and Shem and Japheth and Noah's wife and Noah's three wives of his sons with him entered the ark, they and every beas,t according to their kind, and all the live stock according to their kinds, and every creeping thing that creeps on the earth according to it's kind, and of every bird according to it's kind, every wings creature.

They went into the ark with Noah two and two of all flesh in witch was a breath of life. And those that entered male and female went in as God has commanded him. And God shut him in.

The flood continued forty day's on the earth. The waters increased and bore up the ark, and it rose high above the earth. The waters prevailed and increased greatly on the earth, and the ark floated on the face of the waters. And the waters prevailed mightily that all the high mountains under the heavens were covered. The waters prevailed covering the mountains fifteen cubits deep. And all flesh died that moved on the earth, birds, livestock, beasts, all swarming creatures that swarm on the earth, and all mankind. Everything that was on dry land in whose nostrils was the breath of life died. He blotted out every living thing of the face of the ground man, animal, creeping things and birds of the heavens. They were blotted out from the earth. Only Noah was left and those that were with him in the ark. And the waters prevailed 150 day's.

THE ORIGINAL CREATION Genisis (1:2)

The book of the Beginnings start with the creation of the universe, and the author accounts for it in one sentence "In the beginning God created the heven and the earth." He says nothing as to the details of how or when but just in the far-off beginning, however remote that may be God created all things.
Some hold that after the original creation of verse 1 there was a pre-Adamic catastrophe plunging the world into the condition of chaos discribed in verse 2. If such was the case. the time interval between the two verses could be millions of years long, accounting for whatever are the geologic ages of the earth's history.
The other view is that verse 2 describes not disorderly chaos but anunformed mass of material, wich God then proceeded to takeand form on the creative days according to the predetermined design.
The Sixth and seventh
Let us notice the order of events on the six great days as though we were watching the transformation taking place before our very eyes. Fist, we see the earth, wich was without form and void, and the spirit of God brooding over it, as though He were looking out over the vast expanse, meditating. On the first day God said, "Let there be light" and instantly there was light. The light was separated from the darkness. God called the former Day; the latter He called Night.
On the Second Day God formed the firmament, the great expanse divided waters that were about it from waters under it. The expanse He called Heaven.
On the third Day there was a gathering together of the waters under the heavenly expanse into what God called Seas, and the dry land wich He called Earth appeared, forming the continents and Islands. Soon afterwards green grass and trees were made to appear.
On the fourth day the lights in the firmament of heaven, that is, the sun, the moon, and stars, were made to function.

2012 The ancient Maya

In 2012, THE GRAND odometer of Maya timekeeping known as the Long Count, an accumulation of various smaller time cycles, will revert to zero and a new cycle of 1,872,000 days (5,125,37 years) will begin. As long awaited Y12 date nears, tales of what will happen have proliferated on the Internet, in print, and in movies. As a result, on December 21, 2012 thousands of pilgrims, many in organized "sacred tour" groups, will flock to chichen Itzi, Tikal, and a multitude of other celebrated sites of ancient America. There they will wait for a sign from the ancient Maya marking the end of the world as we know it. Wil it be a blow up or a black out? Doom or delight ? That depends on on which of the New Age prophets, an eclectic collection of self-appointed seers and mystics one chooses to believe. Many of the predictions begin in outer space. it's known that there is a black hole at the center of the Milky Way, and that in 2012 the sun will align with the plane of the galaxy for the first time in 26,000 years. Then according to the doomsayers, the black hole will throw our solar systemm out of kilter. But there's also good news coming from Y12 visionaries. Some say that rather than cataclysm, we're due for a sudden, cosmically timed awakening: we will all join an enlightened collective consciousness that will resolve the worlds problems. The winter solstice sun is "slowly moving toward the heart of the Galaxy," on December 21 (or 23, depending on how you align calendars), when the sun passes

"Great Rift" a dark streak in the Milky Way the Maya "Womb of Creation," the world will be transformed. Then we will reconnect with our cosmic heart.

A Roadside Bomb Has Killed Three South Of Bagdad

A police official says two policemen were among the dead in the morning blast in Mahmadyia, a town 2 miles south of Bagdad. he say's nine people were wounded in explosions.

The casualties were confirmed by a hospital official. Both officials spoke on conditions of anonymity because they were not athorized to speak to the media.

The bombs exploded one minute apart. Officials say the second bomb exploded as police rushed to the scene.

Violence has dropped dramatically across Iraq over the last three years but deadly attacks happen nearly every day.

Then I saw a great white throne and the one who sits on it. Earth and heaven fled from his presence and were seen no more. and I saw the dead, great and small alike, standing before the throne. Books were opened, and then another book was opened, the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done, as recorded in the book. Then the sea gave up it's dead. Death and the world of the dead also gave up the dead they held. And all were Judged acording to what they had done. Then death and the world of the dead were thrown into the lake of fire. (This lake of fire is the second death.) Whoever didn't have their name written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire.

Qaddafi Forces Push Rebels Back To Key Oil Town

Lybian government forces unleashed withering bombardment of the rebels outside a key oil town., pushing them back despite NATO reports that nearly a third of Mummar Al- Quaddafi's heavy weapons have been destoyed. The rebels managed to take part of the oil town of Berga the day before, aided by a international air campaign, but the rocket and artillery slavos unleashed on the rebels indecate the governments offinses capibilities remain very much intact. Rebel attempts to fire rockets and mortars against the government forces were met with aggressive counter bombardments that sent many of the rebel forces scrambling back all the way to the town of Ajdabiya, dozens of miles away. Matthew 5-21:22 Ye have heard that it had been said by them of old time, Thou shall not kill and who so ever shall kill shall be in danger of the Judgment. And who so ever shall say to his brother Racca shall be in danger of the council: but who so ever shall say thou fool shall be in danger of hell fire.

Cure for cancer: Obama may back gas plan

Cure for cancer: Obama may back gas plan: "President Barack Obama is going to effectively join Dallas investors in switching U.S. vehicles to natural gas and off oil. Now Obama will..."

Obama may back gas plan

President Barack Obama is going to effectively join Dallas investors in switching U.S. vehicles to natural gas and off oil. Now Obama will effectively endorse legislation that would provide new incentives for natural gas powered trucks and transit buses.

The president will highlight the proposal during a speech at Gorgetown University, where he will call for cutting oil imports by one-third in a decade.

DRILLING

GOP wants to put emphasis on expanding oil drilling in the Gulf of Mexico and other federal waters. House Republicans intruduced several bills that aim to expand drilling by accelerating the timeframe for approving drilling permits and selling more leases. Democrats have repeatedly argured that oil companies aren't maximizing the federal resourses that are currently availible to them.

The Interior Department reported the Gulf of Mexico and one-half of onshore leases are sitting idle. Oil industry groups quickly rebutted the report, saying the administration has delayed and blocked access to domestic oil since february 2009.

In the speech Obama will call for "new and better incentives" to accelerate production on existing leases. He'll call for new Refineries to produce advanced biofuels and improved vehicle fuel efficiency standards for the 2017-2025 model year.

BACKING

The plan had significant bipartisan support last year, but it did not advance in the senate because Democratic and Republican lawmakers couldn't agree on how to pay the incentives.

Someone said a new version of legislation would cost $5 billion. Past versions of the legislation have called for increased tax credits for buyers of natural gas-powered vehicles. Even with Republican support Obama embrace of natural gas isn't without risk. Liberal Democrats and many enviromental groups say drinking water supplies could be contaminated by gas drilling in states such as Pennsylvania and New York. The Environmental Protection Agency is studying the impact of drilling on water supplies.

And Republicans might not rush to work with Obama on his energy-security plan.

Higher oil and food prices. Unemployment near 9 percent. Crises in the middle east and Japan. The U.S. Economy faces threats at home and abroad that have the potential to dull growth or stoke inflation. Or both.

When they meet the chairman and his federal colleagues will debate those risks. At the top of their agenda is whether to make any changes to the Fed's $600 billion treasury bond purchase program, expiring at the end of June.

The bond purchases are entended to help the economy by keeping long-term interest rates down., encouraging spending and driving up stock prices. Economist expect the Feds to agree to maintain the pace and size of the bond purchases.

But the risk for the economy will probably complicate efforts as the Fed chief and a majority of his colleagues argue that the economy still needs support from the bond purchases. A vocal minority on the Fed has raised concerns that the bond purchases, combining with higher prices for food, fuel and other commodities, will spread inflation through the economy.
They also worry that the purchase could feed speculative buying that could inflate new bubbles in stocks or other assets. The recent spike in oil prices makes the Fed's job that much more difficult. The Fed's hope is that rising prices and inflation will accompany sustained and robust economic growth. However, rising energy prices may lead to a situation of stagflation: higher inflation and lower growth.

Head shaping is one of the most distinctive and deeply rooted practices of the ancient Maya, one they inherited from their olmec forebears. Of the 1600 skulls that have been studied by 122 Maya sites in presant day Mexico, Guatemala, Belize, and Handuras, an astounding 90 percent had artificially shaped cranium, with males and females equally represented.
The practice of head shaping was a regular part of pre-Hispanic life and was required for a child's integration into society which took the form of name celebrating. Artistic representation of deforming apparatuses have been found on whistles and other musical instruments used to accompany these rites and caromonies. During the preclassic period (2000 B.C-A.D. 250) Maya had tall round heads, emulating a head of the Olmec Gods depicted in Olmec art work.

The Inca Indians were an indigenous group in what is now Peru. They created a highly advanced civilization for it's day and had a complex and rich culture. Many important discoveries in medicane and science were made by the Inca, and their agricultural and techniques made the cultivation of food much easier than it had been for other civilizations in the past. The agriculture and the art of the Inca indians were equally spectacular and continue to fasinate people to this day.

Apocalypse soon

In 2012, THE GRAND odometer of Maya timekeeping known as the Long Count, an accumulation of various small time cycles, will revert to zero and a new cycle of 1,872,000 days (5,125.37 years) will begin. as the long-awaited "Y12" nears, tales of what will happen have proliferated on the internet, in point, and in movies. As a result, on December 21, 2012 thousands of pilgrems, many origanized "sacred tour" groups will flee to Chichen Itza, Tikal, and a multitude of other celebrated sites of ancient America. There they will wait for a sign from the ancient Maya marking the end of the world as we know it. Will it be a blow-up or a bliss-out? Doom or delight? That depends on wich of the New Age prophets-an eclectic collection of self-appointed seers and mystics one chooses to believe.
Many of the predictions begin in outer space. it is known that there is a black hole at the center of the milky way, and that in 2012 the sun will aline with the planeof the galaxy for the first time in 26,000 years, Then, accourding to the doomsayers, the black hole will throw our solar system out of kilter. Some say supergiant flares will erupt from the suns surface. propelling an extraordinary plume of solar particles earthward at the next peak of solar activity. Earth's magnetic field will reverse, producing dire consequences such as violent hurricanes and the loss of all electronic communication systems. And natural disasters from Hurricane Katrina to the Indian ocean tsunami? They are all related to this alignment, and the ancient Maya knew all about it. That's the bad news.
But there's also good news coming from Y12 visionaries. Some say that rather than cataclysm we're due for a sudden, cosmically timed awakening: we will all join an enlightened collective conciousness that will resolve the worlds problems. The winter sulstice sun is slowly moving towards the heat of the galaxy. On December 21 (or 23 depending on how you align calenders), when the sun passes the "Great Rift," a dark streak in the Milky Way that represents the Maya "Womb of Creation" the world will be transformed. Then we will reconnect with our cosmic heart.

Why Charlie Sheen was fired from two and a half men

Page after page of bad language, the producers of two and a half men justify by firing Charlie Sheen by painting the actor as self-distuctive, sick addict who's deeriorating mentally and physically while scorning those that tried to help him.
In an unusual personal appeal, an attorney for Warner brothers tells the actors Lawers to focus on what people haven't been able to do yet, get the client sustained; rigorous and effective treatment he so urgently needs. He doesn't believe he has a problem.
He says he's tired of pretending like his life is perfect.

scientists have been warning for several years that the earth is entering a new solar cycle characterized by intence and fequent solar storms, where the sun releases large bursts of electrified gasses. Those storms can disrupt statellites, including the global positioning system; including flying electronic divices, even disrupt the electricity grid.
Though such veriaty in the sun's cycles are normal, the world is increaseing reliant on electronic devices, which are particularly Vulnerable during such solar storms. Such solar storms could disrupt essential goods and services.

Unlike during previous solar storms, the world is particularly vulnerable to disruption. Last time we had a maximum in the solar cycle about ten years ago, the world was a differant place. Many of the effects of space weather are similar to the impact of a man-made electro.magnetic pulse created a nucular explosion, could have on satellites and electric devices.
These effects, however, would be localized, whereas solar storms could effect the entire planet.
The impact of a massive solar storm isn't fully understood because it's not alaways clear how dependant specific industries such as telecommunication are on GPS.
The goal shoud be to take measure now so that there is no disruption, because if protective steps aren't taken the communication and electronic Infrastucture could be severely disturbed.

Arnold Schwarzenegger set to make Hollywood comeback

Look out, Hollywood. Former California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger has a warning for you.

He'll be back.
Good, I think he needs to get back into weight lifting.
“Currently I’m reading three scripts,” Schwarzenegger tells Kronen Zeitung, a newspaper in his native Austria.
what?

The Social Security-eligible actor acknowledges that he won’t be reprising his role as Conan the Barbarian. “In the future I have to adapt to roles (for) my age. Clint Eastwood also has done it in the same way. Extreme fighting is not possible anymore," he said.
well I think he needs to go back into bodybuilding.
Instead, the 65-year old is focusing on the World War II era film “With Wings As Eagles,” a project he has been attached to for several years. In summaries of the film, his character is described as a Nazi commander who refuses to execute a group of Americans soldiers.

“In it I would play an older soldier, who gets the order at the ending of the war to kill a bunch of kids. But he doesn’t do it and get(s) them to safety at the risk of his life and it has all kinds of adventure.”

I'd see that movie!

Schwarzenegger has already made a cameo in last summer’s "The Expendables" and has tweeted about reconnecting with Hollywood cronies like James Cameron, Sylvester Stallone and Harrison Ford.

But the former governor has his doubts about returning to his old stomping grounds. “Will I still have the patience to sit on the set and to do a movie for three months or six months, all of those things?” Schwarzenegger tweeted in October. “I don’t know.”

Here's what I think he could do that and that would be nice but he could help me make a living doing what I want to do. I like him and I'd love to meet him. He's my hero I wish I could be like him. He's like a role model for me.

The Church, Stem Cells and Our Future

When it comes to sex, there’s a lot of noise out there. Do it this way! Buy this! Try this! Do it more! Do it now! Do it today!

It’s a message we see and hear all around us. It makes you wonder what the real deal is. So, I thought I might take a step off the well-beaten path and look in an entirely new direction for some insight -- Eastern religion and philosophy. I wondered if I might be able to find a little quiet in the sex storm, and I did.

So, here it is. The top things we can learn about sex from the Zen Buddhism, Confucianism, Taoism, Hinduism and Shinto philosophies.

Zen Buddhism
Brad Warner, a Soto Zen priest and the author of several books, including “Sex, Sin, and Zen: A Buddhist Exploration of Sex from Celibacy to Polyamory and Everything in Between,” defines Zen Buddhism as more of a meditative practice and less of a religion that seeks “to strip away all of the inessential rituals, costuming, and other trappings and get back down to basics.”

Here are two things Warner says we can learn from Buddhism about sex:
1) Sex isn’t such a big deal. Buddhism has a lighter approach than others. It says only that you shouldn’t misuse sexuality. Then it leaves it up to you to decide what constitutes misuse. But sex also is a very big deal. Buddhism doesn’t draw a line between body and mind. Even "casual sex" creates a deep connection. So, you don’t have to be committed for life to every partner. But you shouldn’t ignore the connection that’s made.

2) When it comes to sex, you don't need to get so attached. Attachment is a hard concept to deal with. The Buddhist ideal of non-attachment doesn't mean you have to stop loving the people you love or enjoying the things you like to do. It means to give up your mental attachment to the idea of how things ought to be and, instead, focus on how things really are.

Confucianism
What can we learn about sex from Confucianism?
1) Sex is good in moderation. Like everything in life we must maintain balance in our sexual affairs. We must abstain sometimes.
2) There must be harmony between desire and ritual.
3) Sex is not a necessity for human beings. In order to embrace our humanity and to survive, sex is not a must unlike just like food.
To abstain is to deny our natural hunger.

Here are three things Burris says we can learn from Taoism about sex.
1) Sex is a healthy practice that should energize and reinvigorate us rather than deplete us.

Ellagic Acid

Ellagic acid is a phytochemical, or plant chemical, found in raspberries, strawberries, cranberries, walnuts, pecans, pomegranates, and other plant foods.

Research in cell cultures and laboratory animals has found that ellagic acid may slow the growth of some tumors caused by certain carcinogens. While this is promising, at this time there is no reliable evidence available from human clinical studies showing that ellagic acid can prevent or treat cancer. Further research is needed to determine what benefits it may have.

Ellagic acid seems to have some anti-cancer properties. It can act as an anti-oxidant, and has been found to cause cell death in cancer cells in the laboratory. In other laboratory studies, ellagic acid seems to reduce the effect of estrogen in promoting growth of breast cancer cells in tissue cultures. There are also reports that it may help the liver to break down or remove some cancer-causing substances from the blood.

Some supporters have claimed these results mean that ellagic acid can prevent or treat cancer in humans. This has not been proven. Unfortunately, many substances that show promise against cancer in laboratory and animal studies are not found to be useful in people.

Ellagic acid has also been said to reduce heart disease, birth defects, liver problems, and to promote wound healing.

What does it involve?
The highest levels of ellagic acid are found in raspberries, strawberries, and pomegranates, especially when they are freeze-dried. Extracts from red raspberry leaves or seeds, pomegranates, or other sources are said to contain high levels of ellagic acid and are available as dietary supplements in capsule, powder, or liquid form. The best dose of these preparations is not known.

Ellagic acid was studied in the 1960s mainly for its effects on blood clotting. Early published research on ellagic acid and cancer first appeared in the 1970s and 1980s. With the publication of several small laboratory studies in the mid-1990s, ellagic acid began to be promoted on the Internet and elsewhere as a means of preventing and treating cancer.

Almost all studies conducted on ellagic acid to date have been done in cell cultures or laboratory animals. Several animal studies have found that ellagic acid can inhibit the growth of tumors of the skin, esophagus, and lung, as well as other tumors caused by carcinogens. Other studies have also found positive effects. A recent study in cell cultures found that ellagic acid may act against substances that help tumors to form new blood vessels. Further studies are needed to determine whether these results apply to humans.

In the only study reported thus far in humans, Italian researchers found that ellagic acid seemed to reduce the side effects of chemotherapy in men with advanced prostate cancer, although it did not slow disease progression or improve survival. The researchers cautioned that more research would be needed to confirm these results.

The interaction between phytochemicals like ellagic acid and the other compounds in foods is not well understood, but it is unlikely that any single compound offers the best protection against cancer. A balanced diet that includes 5 or more servings a day of fruits and vegetables along with foods from a variety of other plant sources such as nuts, seeds, whole grain cereals, and beans is likely to be more effective in reducing cancer risk than eating one particular food, such as raspberries, in large amounts. However, some studies suggest that foods high in ellagic acid might be useful additions to a balanced diet. For example, one nonrandomized clinical study of men with prostate cancer reported that pomegranate juice slowed the increase in blood levels of prostate-specific antigen, a substance that is routinely measured to estimate growth of prostate cancer.
